Introduced by NATIVE MONTREAL friend - and fell in L O V E - Even went back the day we were leaving and bought 4 sandwich's for the Plane ( and ate 'em all on the way home to LAX ) - One of the best reasons I know for returning to Montreal- Drove around for hours trying to find it after the 1st time - they were tearing up the streets = but when we found it I knew I was completely in Love !! ( even my husband loved it too )

Schwartz's smoked meats .... the name brings back memories of stopping in at 2 am on a sat night coming home from the bars in 1974. I am stunned that it is still open, but happy to hear the reviews are still great. I don't get those sandwiches out here in Victoria BC., makes me want to go back to Montreal, just for the smoked meat and those huge kosher pickles ......
